Matthew is responsible for the firm’s investment operations. Prior to joining Vigilant, Matthew worked in hedge fund accounting and administration at Stone Coast Fund Services in Portland, ME. While at Stone Coast, Matthew managed the Implementations team which processed accounting and investor onboarding for new clients. Prior to that, he managed a hedge fund portfolio accounting team. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. He enjoys camping and exploring the outdoors with his family. Matthew lives in Falmouth, ME with his wife, Melissa, and daughter Abigail.

Steve is responsible for the firm’s technology footprint. This includes the Cyber Security Program, Day-to-day Technology Operations, Policy and Procedures / Roadmapping, Application/Data Support, End User Support, and Vendor Management. He was previously the Director of Network and Infrastructure at the University of New England. He has also held IT Management roles for Maine Health, Diversified Communications, and Maine Employers Mutual Insurance Company. Steve received his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and also holds an undergraduate degree in Information Technology. He lives with his wife and three children in Lewiston, Maine.

Kristie is the firm’s Operations Associate. She is responsible for the administrative tasks associated with both the Portland and Portsmouth offices and provides support in the areas of business and investment operations, technology, compliance and marketing. Prior to joining Vigilant, Kristie was a student at the University of Minnesota Duluth, from which she earned a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in German Studies. Kristie lives in Portland, Maine and enjoys traveling, reading, and volunteering.
